This diet is simple.  You do not have to buy anything.  Or do anything - except keep a scorecard.  You will start documenting certain information every day.  You can write it in a book or use or use or simple spreadsheets if you want to be exact. The more you detail you keep, the more weight you will lose. In the ‘what you eat’ category, you can just write down what you eat and estimate calories, or use our many charts to get detailed information.  Daily, you will be keeping track of the food you eat and what you drink, the activity you do, a bunch of easy tricks we know about, your weight, and your mental state. If you are wondering how simply doing that can make you lose weight, we DARE you DO IT RIGHT NOW.  Forget about any tracker sites you’ve tried in the past; this is not that kind of thing, and it gets deep into the root of ALL the things that are making you be at an uncomfortable weight.  Just reviewing and documenting daily causes REMINDING and RETRAINING of your mind daily, until you build new memory cells and receptors in your brain that will change a few of your simple habits automatically, without you even knowing about it.

They say they don’t believe it or even worse they are afraid to face reality.  You see, going through our daily diet scorecard is simple but you do have to be honest about a lot of things.  Don’t let that scare you, because the fun part is that you will embed important things in your subconscious, and they will happen automatically.  That is the most exciting part about this diet!  You are just going to be so happy that you will be looking forward to your daily routine. 

Truthfully, once you start filling in the daily scorecard you are going to be automatically more aware of all your surroundings, not just food.  In the food area, you will start eating less, and maybe even looking for better quality foods to eat.  In the end, you will be losing weight either way, and ANY increase in your general activity level will speed up the process, even if you just go shopping more often.

Every item that you are scoring daily is labeled in the left most columns.  When you hover your mouse over the item description, a larger item description will pop up that you should read a least a few times, and after that you can just use it as a reference.  Type today’s date over the date in the first column.  Fill in one column each day, and NEVER miss a day.  If you update it throughout the day, especially in the first 5 days, your success rate will be much better.

This “diet”, using this diet scorecard, supports all other existing diets ever created, including over the counter diet pills, illegal diet pills, and prescriptions diet pills.   It would help even if you were taking placebos, honestly!  

This diet compliments protein shake diets and other food replacement diets, or food delivery programs, amazingly well.  Manypeople existing nutritional weight loss programs are very good for your body, and in fact we recommend you get some of nutritional supplements while dieting anyway. Introduction

Since the late 1990’s, there has been a dramatic increase in obesity in Americans, regardless of age, according to information collected and analyzed by the National Center for Health Statistics.

Almost 9 million (15%) children between the ages of 6 and 19 are overweight, and this number is still growing according to information gathered between 1999 and 2000 (triple the number of 1980). The information has also shown that another 15% of children between the ages of 6 and 19 are at risk of becoming overweight also.

Obesity is defined as having an excessive accumulation of body fat which will result in the person’s body being about 20% heavier than their ideal body weight. So those people whose weight is above what is considered their ideal range, are defined as being overweight. Obesity is a common eating disorder that is associated with teens.

Although teens may have fewer weight related health issues than adults, those teens that are overweight now are much more likely to be come overweight as an adult. Teens who are overweight (in fact people of all ages that are overweight) are at risk from a number of different health issues, and these include:

1. Heart Disease
2. Diabetes
3. High Blood Pressure
4. Strokes
5. Some forms of Cancer Those teens who are obese may find that they are not only physically unfit, but their well being is usually very low as well. Many obese people will also tend to have a shorter life expectancy than those who are the right weight for their body size. Plus, it can also lead to social disabilities and unhappiness, which in turn may cause them stress and in some cases, may make them mentally ill as well.

A study that was carried and details which were released in May 2004 suggested that overweight children are more likely to be involved in bullying than those children who are a normal weight. But they can not only be the victims of bullying, they may be the perpetrators as well.

The development of their own personal identity and body image is an important goal for any teenager.

There are a number of causes for obesity which center around an imbalance in the teens energy they put into their bodies, (calories that they obtain from the food they eat) and the energy they release from their bodies (how good their metabolism is, and how much physical activity they take part in). Often teens when a teen is overweight, it is because there is a problem with the nutritional value of their diet, or it may be psychological, familial or physiological, all of which we will discuss a little bit more.

Often children and teens are more at risk of becoming overweight if they have two overweight parents.

Benefits of Drinking Lots of Water,

#1 Water Helps Keep Fat Away

Water is a key part of any weight loss program.  It is very necessary for helping the body remove fat and for general overall health.

 
The following are some of the things that water will help the body with:

  • Supresses appetite.
  • Assists the body in metabolizing stored fat, because your liver is overloaded when your kidneys don't get enough water. Your liver metabolizes fat and it can't do that at 100% if it is doing the kidney's job.
  • Reduces fat deposits in the body.
  • Relieves fluid retention problems. If you don't give your body water, it will hold it so as not to lose it.
  • Reduces sodium buildup in the body.
  • Helps to maintain proper muscle tone.
  • Rids the body of waste and toxins.
  • Relieves constipation.

 

Tips on water intake:

  • Take your weight, divide it by 2, and that's how many ounces of water you should be drinking daily. But at least drink a minimum of 64 ounces per day (2 quarts). Here are examples--if your...
    • Weight is 200, drink 100 ounces (8, 12-ounce glasses)
    • Weight is 250, drink 125 ounces (10.5, 12-ounce glasses)
    • Weight is 300, drink 150 ounces (12.5, 12-ounce glasses)
    • Weight is 400, drink 200 ounces (17, 12-ounce glasses)
  • Drink an additional 8 ounces per day for every 25 pounds overweight.
  • It is better to drink the water cold, as it is absorbed quicker and may burn more calories.
  • Drink clean water, bottled or filtered.

WARNING: Drinking DIET soda can, over time make you gain weight.  Avoid it and replace with unsweetened tea or better yet, WATER.  Just quitting drinking all types of soda and replacing it with WATER alone will make you lose weight.
